One spoof per boot

Never spoof twice without restarting. This is the single most common way to break a session.

The rule

Never spoof twice in the same boot

One spoof per Windows session. If you want to spoof again, or change seed, restart the machine first. Every time, no exceptions.

This is the single most common way people break a working setup. It is not a soft recommendation and it is not there to be careful. Doing it twice in one boot leaves your machine in a state we cannot predict, and the only reliable fix is a restart.

Why it matters

A spoof replaces the identifiers your hardware reports for the life of that boot. Windows, your drivers and anything already running have read some of those values and cached them.

Running a second spoof on top of the first means:

  • Half the system reports the first set of identifiers and half reports the second.
  • Anything already running keeps the values it cached, so your machine is inconsistent with itself.
  • Applications that read the same identifier twice get different answers, which looks exactly like tampering.
  • The spoof can silently fail to apply, leaving your real serials exposed while the loader reports success.

A cold restart clears all of it. The identifiers are applied once, everything reads the same values, and the machine is consistent from the first moment.

What going twice looks like

The symptoms are rarely a clean error, which is why this catches people out. Watch for:

  • The loader reporting success while a hardware check still shows your real serials.
  • Different tools reporting different serials on the same machine.
  • A hardware mismatch on your account, because our servers saw two different machines in one session.
  • Bluescreens or an unresponsive machine, on some hardware.
It can cost you a reset

Two conflicting hardware reports in one session can trip the hardware lock on your account. Resets are limited to 5 per week, so spending them on avoidable mistakes is worth avoiding. How the lock works.

How to redo a spoof

Whenever you want different identifiers, or you want to change seed, the loop is always the same.

  1. 1
Close your game and anything that reads hardware information.
  2. 2
Restart Windows. A full restart, not sleep, hibernate or fast shutdown.
  3. 3
Open the loader once Windows is back.
  4. 4
    Select the seed you want.
  5. 5
Spoof once, then reboot again if the loader asks you to.
Fast Startup can defeat a restart

Windows Fast Startup makes a shutdown behave like hibernation, so the previous session is partly restored and the spoof is not fully cleared. Use Restart rather than Shut down, or turn Fast Startup off under Control Panel, then Power Options, then Choose what the power buttons do.

If you already did it

Nothing is permanently damaged. Recover like this:

  1. 1
Restart the machine now, before doing anything else.
  2. 2
Do not run the loader again until Windows is fully back up.
  3. 3
    Spoof once, and only once.
  4. 4
Verify your serials changed before launching anything that checks them.

If your account shows a hardware mismatch afterwards, follow the hardware lock page. If the machine will not boot cleanly, power off fully, wait a few seconds, and start it again from cold. The spoof does not survive a power cycle, so you will come back up on your real hardware.
